You won’t need a voltage transformer at any of the destinations covered in this guide.
The only accessory you may need is a plug adapter (travel adapter), which simply changes the shape of the prongs to match local wall outlets without altering the voltage.
Single-voltage devices (typically 100V or 220V only) require bulky voltage transformers. OUMI BEAUTIES completely eliminates this burden.

Regional Compatibility Reference

North America & Europe
The United Sates and Canada. The standard electrical voltage in North America is 120V/60Hz, using type A (two flat, parallel prongs) and type B (type A with a round grounding prong) outlets. Type B is a mainstream standard for modern residential and commercial wiring. OUMI BEAUTIES devices can be plugged directly into a 120V outlet; only a type A or type B plug adapter is required. For high-power devices such as hair dryers, please ensure the adapter is rated for at least 125V/10A.

Continental Europe. Most EU countries use 220-240V/50Hz, with type C (European standard, two round pins) and type F (German standard, two round pins plus a side grounding pin) outlets. The United Kingdom and Ireland use type G (three-pin) outlets with a Type C/F adapter in continental Europe and only a type G adapter in the UK; no voltage transformer is needed.

Note for EU distributors: the EU Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC) apply to mains-powered electrical appliances. OUMI BEAUTIES products are designed and manufactured in accordance with applicable CE certification requirements.

Middle East

Voltage and plug standards vary across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, making wide-voltage compatibility particularly valuable here.
Saudi Arabia. The mains voltage is 220V/60Hz, and type A, B, C, and G outlets are used; type G (British three-pin) is becoming increasingly common in modern buildings and hospitality industry. When travelling throughout Saudi Arabia, a type G adapter offers the widest coverage.

United Arab Emirates. The mains voltage is 220-230V/50Hz, with type C, D and G outlets commonly found. In Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Shajiah, a type G adapter will work with the vast majority of outlets in hotels and homes.

Southest Asia

Singapore. The mains voltage is 230V/50Hz, and outlets are type G - a direct legacy of the infrastructure from the British colonial era. Non-British plugs require a type G adapter. Singapore’s power grid is extremely stable.

Malaysia. The mains voltage is 240V/50Hz, and type G outlets are also used. Adapters used in Singapore are also suitable for Malaysia; the 10V difference between 230V and 240V falls entirely within the tolerance range of OUMI BEAUTIES’ wide-voltage input.

Thailand. The mains voltage is 220V/50Hz, with a mix of socket types, including type A, B, C, and BF (also known as type B3 or “universal” sockets). Many Thai hotels and modern buildings are equipped with universal sockets that accept both flat-pin and round-pin plugs. Carrying a universal adapter that covers type A, C and G is a prudent strategy for travelling in the region.

Practical Tips for OUMI BEAUTIES Users & Distributors

Check the device label. Every OUMI BEAUTIES product carries an input rating label stating “100-240V 50/60Hz.” If the label shows this range, only a plug adapter is needed. If it shows a narrow single voltage, contact your OUMI BEAUTIES representative before use in different regions.

Adapter quality matters. Use adapter rated for at least 10A/250V for hair dryers and other high-draw devices. Low-quality adapter with thin contacts can overheat.
